Analysts found out what the Russians tried to cope with stress this year. They compiled a selection of goods and services that were most often searched on the Internet by residents of the Russian Federation in 2022. RIA Novosti writes about this with reference to a study by the price aggregator Price.ru.

The experts compared the number of search queries for some products in 2022 with the same period last year. So, it turned out that over the past 10 months, online demand for over-the-counter antidepressants has grown significantly. Russians began to look for such drugs 254% more often than a year earlier. In addition, residents of the Russian Federation began to google reviews of antidepressants more online (+29%).

In addition, this year Russians have increased their interest in astrology and tarot cards (+77% and +42%, respectively). And residents of the Russian Federation began to look for "predictions" more often by as much as 143%.

Russians also began to look more online for goods for adults. The most popular in this category were vibrators (+20%), masturbators (+19%), erection rings (+19%) and condoms (+14%).

Also this year, analysts noted that Russians have become more interested in dietary supplements and vitamins (+21%), as well as sweets, especially marshmallows and marmalade (+18%).
