Demand for sex toys has quadrupled in Russia, according to Mash. According to the Telegram channel, online platforms where you can buy goods for adults have become very popular. So, in the first half of 2022, Russians bought 683 million sex toys. Sex dolls are the most popular.

At the same time, Russians have become 20% less likely to go to sex shops. In addition, the demand for the purchase of vibrators, whips and balls for role-playing games has fallen. Also, Russians began to purchase condoms by 17% less due to rising prices for imported contraceptives. Nevertheless, the demand for lubricants and intimate gels has grown.

On July 13, it was reported that sex toys appeared on the shelves of one of the Krasnodar stores of the L'Etoile network. As the employee of the outlet explained, it was only as a demonstration "for about a couple of hours", then they were removed.
