Turkey has launched the country's first online store selling adult products, or simply a sex shop for Muslims, local newspaper Hurriett Daily News writes.

The site developers describe their product as completely safe and in accordance with the canons of Islam. “When you visit our page on the Internet, you can see two sections - one link for men, the other for women,” say the creators of the online store. They believe that such a separation will be convenient for users, as they will be able to see products for men and women separately.

The site also has other sections such as "Sexual Manners in Islam" and "Sexual Life in Islam". Here users can share their opinions on relevant topics.

It is not yet clear whether the creators of the Turkish sex shop will go into business, but a few years ago their Western comrades sounded the alarm. So, the German company Beate Uhse, specializing in the production of sex toys, complained about the decrease in its market value. And American erotic magazines said they were on the verge of bankruptcy. One of their ranks, the legendary men's magazine Penthouse, said in September this year that it couldn't pay its bills.
