How to Tell Whether a Wholesale Sex Toys Business or Company is a Scam

Our customers have been calling and emailing us a lot lately.

Old clients, some of whom have done business with me for over three years. They let us know that other websites are quite similar to ours, and they asked if we would be interested in their products if they were true and came from our company.

First-time clients complained to us that they had lost money after placing an order and sending payment to a phony website that also sold wholesale sex toys but they never received any goods. They questioned how they could have faith in us, how they could be certain we are a legitimate business, and how we would deliver their products once they paid.

Our team visited the website our clients had recommended, and when we looked at the first page of one of the websites, we realized it was a fake and that it was imitating us because they had even used some images from our warehouse and even one of the people on the photo is a colleague who is still employed by our company.

All of those websites, which we verified, appear to be fakes. One of our clients expressed his belief that these websites are bogus after we informed him of the situation. He noted that the majority of their merchandise is under $5, which is not fair. Therefore, I’d like to propose something here that will make it easier for users to spot a bogus website.

As a China-based distributor and manufacturer of sex toys, we may claim that we have access to a wide variety of sex toys. However, I must admit that while the products themselves may be identical to those sold in Europe or the USA, our products typically come in completely different packaging. The reason for this is that a sex toy manufacturer would typically have a contract in place before beginning to produce sex toys for a US or UK brand, such as a rabbit vibrator. To keep the contract, the company cannot sell such products to any other customer. The contract is usually a large one; therefore, manufacturers don’t wish to lose it. It doesn’t make sense to lose a container deal for an order worth $1,000. Even if a manufacturer wants to sell anything, they will change the mold to give the goods a unique quality to avoid a legal or contentious situation.

Because of certain reasons, some UK or US buyers have canceled the contracts, allowing the manufacturer to sell those products to others. However, they are still unable to use the packaging from their previous customers and many factories don’t even have the package; instead, the USA and UK shoppers typically create the pack in a different location to prevent some unreliable manufacturers from selling their items to others. Because of this, you will find that many sex toys from China are comparable to or identical to those found in the markets in the USA, EU, and Australia, but the packaging is always distinctive and the price is, obviously, considerably lower.

Once you get what I just described, you will be able to identify phony sex toys when you see them being sold by a supplier from China   , Hong Kong, or even the UK who is charging considerably less for the exact same goods (including the packaging) as are being sold by US or UK-based stores.

We acknowledge that some new clients may have already been harmed by fraudulent websites or businesses. We are eager to assist them in regaining their trust in Chinese suppliers because the majority of Chinese businesses are reliable. They need to have confidence in China once more.

We completely appreciate the concerns of the many clients who are seeking to make their first purchase from us; some of these customers have never purchased goods from abroad, while others may have been defrauded and lost cash. To help our potential clients learn more about us before they place an order, we thus include as much information about our business as possible on our website, along with images, articles, and tradeshow information in our blog https://sextoyfactory.cn/Blog.html

Additionally, we have been in business for approximately 20 years, possess a facility in Dongguan, and produce sex toys for well-known companies. In fact, we are well-known to many sex toy companies in the UK and the US.

In the meantime, due to the high number of “trust” questions, people are reluctant to cooperate with cheaters and are unable to travel to China to sue this fraudulent company for an order worth roughly 200 USD.

We are also working to find ways to make it safer and easier for foreign customers who want to purchase goods from China to place their orders and complete them, as well as to inform the rest of the world that there are secure ways to conduct small-scale business transactions with Chinese companies without physically traveling to China.  We still have plans to do it; we may launch a website, a forum, or a Facebook page to inform customers about legitimate businesses in China, and we may invite them to share their experiences there. This will apply not only to businesses selling adult toys and novelty items but also to any other business that wants to launch in China. We would welcome it if you could offer some suggestions.

To prevent any of our clients from being duped, please let us know if any of them come across a phony website.
